Hello! My name is F.T. and I am 22 yrs old and I am from northern California. I was diagnosed with caner at the age of 1 month old. I have been very lucky to have been in remission for quite a few years. Since I have beaten cancer at a very young age with the help of my family, I do not really remember much. All I have is a couple pictures to show what I have been through in my journey of fighting cancer. I am very fortunate enough to have lived the life I have lived. Even though I have beaten cancer, I do have a lot of problems that I still dealt with growing up and even now. But, the good thing is that I have taught myself to work around my problems so it works a lot better for me. I have had numerous surgeries due to bone growth issues with my legs. This is from the chemo and radiation that I had experienced at a very young age. Even with these issues, I am willing to live my life my way in order to be happy. My favorite things to do is to workout to keep myself healthy and strong. In addition, I also love to cook and bake for myself and family who I live with. It is just a really nice way to experiment, have fun, and relax at the same time. Right now, I am currently attending Foothill Community College in Los Altos, Ca. I am in my first year but I am nearly in my second year. I am majoring in child development and I wanna be able to work with children in any kind of way. Overall, I am very fortunate and especially thankful again to be able to share my story and be able to get the help I need from the Orion Fund Grant.
