We have noticed that we follow the demographics of what happens to young adults… each year we usually fund students with traumatic injury, cancer, autoimmune disorders such as multiple sclerosis, Crohn’s and rheumatoid arthritis. We first fund students with acute circumstances – a significant medical event within the last year. We next support students with serious chronic conditions, until our grant pool for the year has been expended.
