The Orion Fund is Now a Charity Navigator Four-Star Non-Profit Organization

The Orion Fund is pleased to announce that we are now a Charity Navigator Four-Star non-profit organization.  Charity Navigator is the most trusted evaluator of U.S. non-profits… and a Four-Star rating is the highest rating possible for a non-profit.  Since 2001, Charity Navigator has empowered millions of donors by providing free access to data, tools, and resources to guide philanthropic decision-making and to help donors identify charities that align with their passions and values.  Only a small percentage of nonprofits earn this distinction, making it a significant accomplishment for any organization.

A Four-Star rating is a powerful affirmation of our commitment to financial health, accountability, transparency, and measurable impact. It signals to our donors, partners, and community that their trust is well-placed—and that we’re using every resource wisely to advance our mission.  We’ve always taken pride in operating with integrity and a deep sense of responsibility whether to our donors or our students.  This recognition by Charity Navigator is a much appreciated validation of The Orion Fund.
