The Orion Fund
Grants for California College Students in Health Crisis
Our Mission
The Orion Fund provides grants to California college students in medical crisis. From car crashes to cancer, we put a safety net under students so they can pursue their education.
We envision a world where no young adult faces the crushing burden of a medical crisis alone.
What We Do
Award Grants to Students
We give grants to college students with serious illness or injury. If you are a student, age 32 and under, with a serious medical condition affecting your ability to stay in school, then The Orion Fund may be able to help.
Provide a Safety Net
The Orion Fund grants provide monies for uncovered Medical expenses, short-term medical costs supporting recovery, and Educational and Living expenses associated with recovery.
Collaborate with Campuses
Statewide we work with Colleges to lessen the emotional and financial strain of a student in medical crisis. Our presence on over 65 campuses has enabled us to be a beacon of hope for students.
